Create local giving

Since 2014, HCWA has been serving the Conniburrow community of Milton Keynes with dedication. Despite being a small community organisation, we have a bold mission – to empower youth, families, and the community to contribute fully to a healthy society.

We take our mission seriously by organising various youth activities and running a family activities based in MK and outside MK. Our aim is to share knowledge build new skills and resources to create enriching experiences for all.

But our efforts extend beyond these programs. We respond to community needs by organising events like sports days, youth day trips, and community kitchens, camping trips, Hiking trips. We collaborate with local government services to enhance support for our community and establish connections with organisations across MK to strengthen our collective support network.

Here are some recent examples of our impactful work:

  • Weekly youth homework club to support their academics
  • Weekly Book club to improve their literacy
  • Twice a year Camping and Hiking trips to support families to connect with the nature
  • Hosting Art for Wellbeing workshops for the community, focusing on confidence building and friendships
  • Collaborating with local schools to assist EAL students
  • Weekly free or affordable warm nutrition-rich meals and offering spaces for families to connect
