HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
During each half terms and summer holiday, we are dedicated to providing support for young people to enhance their academic performance in core subjects, by organising revision boost helping them succeed in exams and mocks. Additionally, we extend our holiday activities programme to support to families and young individuals who receive free school meals, ensuring they have access to enriching activities during the half term breaks.
Revision boost
The holiday revision boost sessions are carefully crafted to enhance the academic competence of young individuals, ensuring they remain sharp during their breaks. These sessions are tailored for students preparing for SATs, GCSEs, or crucial transition mock exams. Recognising the significance of sustaining momentum and encouraging their confidence in exam preparation, our committed team of tutors and mentors stands ready to offer focused, personalised support, empowering these students to excel.
Holiday Activities Programme
Research indicates that school holidays can be challenging for some families, leading to what’s known as a “holiday experience gap.” Children from low-income households may face barriers accessing organised out-of-school activities, leading to potential gaps in nutrition, physical health, and social interaction.
HCWA is proud to be actively involved in the holiday activities and food programs funded by Milton Keynes Council for the past two years. These initiatives provide a fantastic opportunity to nurture the creativity of young people while ensuring they have a blast with craft and variety of activities.
Our holiday activities offer an excess of craft projects designed to explode the imagination and keep kids engaged. These activities open a world of possibilities for creativity and fun.

Get Involved
Join us in making a difference in the lives of children and families in Milton Keynes. Volunteer or support our initiatives, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a positive impact.
We have witnessed positive impact on children and young people, particularly when they are engaged and offered consistent and easily accessible enrichment activities and provide more than just meals.
At HCWA, we are committed to ensuring that our holiday activities not only provide fun and engaging experiences but also contribute to the well-being of children and families in our community. By involving children and parents in food preparation and offering a variety of enriching activities, we strive to create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive during the holidays.
