Youth Day Trip
Youth Day Trip, we believe in enhancing outdoor experiences for young people by offering a variety of activities throughout the year. Over the past three years, we have organised six day trips chosen by the youth themselves, including sports days, laser games, museum visits, bowling, gallery tours, and litter picking at Campbell Park. These activities advance group participation among our youth members.
This year, we have two outdoor trips planned, which will involve litter picking in Conniburrow. Our outdoor activities are curated by the youth, providing them with the opportunity to coordinate and participate in activities that bring pleasure, promote environmental consciousness, and contribute to their overall wellbeing.
We recognise the transformative power of nature and sports in shaping the lives of young people. By offering enriching outdoor experiences and encouraging physical activity, we aim to empower youth, strengthen families, and encourage unity within our community.
The goal of the Youth Day Trip is to create activities that inspire young people to engage in more active pursuits beyond playing games or being glued to their phones.

Whether you’re searching for a relaxing way to unwind or an exciting project to keep the kids entertained, craft activities open a world of possibilities.

Empowering youth through football
At Heego, we’re excited to announce our recent collaboration with the MK Dons football team, aimed at nurturing the talents of young boys in our Afterschool club and inspiring a passion for football. We recognise the challenges faced by young men in our community, and we’re determined to provide positive opportunities that steer them away from unproductive activities like loitering on street corners.
