Family Camping Trip

What we offer

Our Youth and Family Camping Trips initiative aims to provide transformative outdoor experiences for youth and families, particularly those that are from the communities that have never experience before.

By organising camping trips to natural settings, we offer participants the opportunity to disconnect from daily stressors, connect with nature, and bond with their families and peers. These experiences encourage stronger familial bonds, communication skills, and shared memories that last a lifetime.

In the past year alone, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting a total of 50 families on our camping trips, organising two unforgettable camping trips that left participants feeling revived and inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

Camping trips are designed to cater and engage the diverse needs and interests of participants. Whether it’s hiking through attractive trails, swimming in original lakes, or simply enjoying campfire stories under the starlit sky, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Why join us

Our experienced guides and outdoor educators provide support and guidance throughout the camping trip, facilitating learning opportunities and raising a sense of adventure and exploration.

Camping trips encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience as participants navigate outdoor challenges and engage in activities such as setting up tents, cooking meals over a campfire, and exploring the wilderness.

Participants develop essential life skills, including outdoor survival techniques, first aid knowledge, and environmental principles. Through hands-on experiences, they learn to respect and care for the natural environment, contributing to their sense of responsibility as stewards of the land.

Empowering youth through football

At Heego, we’re excited to announce our recent collaboration with the MK Dons football team, aimed at nurturing the talents of young boys in our Afterschool club and inspiring a passion for football. We recognise the challenges faced by young men in our community, and we’re determined to provide positive opportunities that steer them away from unproductive activities like loitering on street corners.
